Arriving in Medulin

In the tourist center Medulin and nearby towns every evening can be a new experience. For night life the young can choose discotheque " Imperial " and " Dali " in Medulin," Joy " in Premantura or numerous cafés.

If you want to relax to the dance rhythms, you can choose one of the many dance terraces – Dali, Europa, Hotel Belvedere terrace or the terrace at tourist village Kažela. There is also dance music on the terraces of camping Stupice and Runke in Premantura, and Indije in Banjole.

The greatest festivity of the municipality is certainly Medulin Night, held regularly on the last Sunday in July, celebrating St. Jacob, the patron saint of Medulin. You will surely be drawn by the appetizing smell of brodetto being prepared by politicians and other Croatian celebrities, competing at the Brodetto Cup. At the end of this competition visitors can taste the results of this "political cuisine". This all-evening rich entertainment program ends with an attractive fireworks display.
All throughout July and August a number of sports competitions are organized for guests – tennis tournaments, swimming marathon, spear-fishing competition, etc.

In the entire Medulin Municipality you can enjoy chamber music concerts. Most of the concerts are held in St. Agnes' Church in Medulin, where Croatia's leading musicians perform. Such concerts are also regularly held in St. Lawrence's Church in Premantura, Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Banjole, Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Pomer, as well as Church of St. Nicholas the Traveler in Pješcana Uvala.

The magnificent open-air stage of the amphitheater - Vespasian's Arena in Pula, only 7 kilometers away - is the venue for the most attractive concerts in Croatia. To mention only some of those who performed last summer: Eros Ramazzoti, The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with Zubin Mehta, Luciano Pavarotti, Imperial Russian Ballet.
